In 1978 Faith Christian School opened with three faculty members and nine students. Today Faith Christian School has grown to an enrollment of 343 students, kindergarten through twelfth grade.   Faith Christian School is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).   This premier accrediting agency is recognized by colleges and universities throughout the United States.   All credits earned from Faith Christian School are fully accepted without question at all public and/or private educational institutions.   Faith is also a long time member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), which represents a large number of Christian Schools throughout the United States.

Founded in 1973, Faith Presbyterian Church (PCA) was organized as the only PCA church in the Anniston-Oxford-Jacksonville area.   The church's focus is on being biblical and evangelical.  Educational and mission ministries are important at FPC. Teaching children and youth through programs like Camp Logos and Sunday school, mission trips, and service projects; reaching Spanish-speaking members of the community through an English as a Second Language program which presents the Gospel, while also helping immigrants learn to function in the American workforce.   The church's ministry also includes Faith Christian School, which began to meet the need of parents in this area for a Christian school which teaches from a biblical world view.   FCS has grown over the years to reach a peak enrollment of 351 (in 2003-04) students.   The faithfulness of God has been evidenced by the people of Faith Presbyterian Church as they have seen Him work to meet their needs and to provide for their ministries.
