Under the authority of the Christian Scriptures, the mission of Faith Christian School (K-12) is to prepare students to serve God and others by instilling a Biblical world and life view, providing a quality academic education, and developing the Christian social graces of love, self-control, and fellowship for the purpose of glorifying God.
Beliefs of Faith Christian School
1. God is the source of all truth, and the Bible is given by Him as our supreme and final authority.
2. Because each student is created in the image of God with unique physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual gifts, he/she is a valued individual with the primary purpose of glorifying God.
3. The student will model what he/she sees; therefore, teachers need to be Christian role models.
4. A variety of instructional strategies and learning activities should provide appropriate challenges for all enrolled students.
5. All academics should be taught from a biblical world and life view emphasizing Christian values, civic responsibility, and community service.
6. The student is personally responsible and accountable for his/her behavior and personal integrity, while maintaining a balance in the areas of the spiritual disciplines, academic excellence, and extra-curricular activities.
7. Students learn most effectively in a safe, structured, healthy environment.
8. The parent has the ultimate responsibility for the child and cannot be replaced by the school. The school is a team member with the parent.
9. The commitment to continuous school improvement is imperative in order to enable students to become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners.
10. Faith Christian School must emphasize the priorities of spiritual growth, academic excellence and extra-curricular activities, respectively.
