Matt Poole
Class of 2004
Most of you may already know that Matt Poole (FCHS Class of 2004) was involved in a car accident and broke his ankle and his wrist and some other injury. His parents are praying that he will be able to finish his semester on time at college in Tennessee; in fact his dad is helping him get to class and back daily I understand.
We missed Matt at homecoming; he usually gets to come.
Pray for Matt to recover completely and pray that he will not lose credits as a result of this accident.

Hawbaker
Things in the Hawbaker household are busy. I am currently coaching the Varsity Girls' Soccer team and teaching 9th grade world history at Jack
Britt High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I am also coaching a U-13 boys' Fayetteville Force club soccer team this spring. Right now,
AprilMarie is pregnant with our second daughter, Olivia Grace Hawbaker, due on February 26th (also, this is the date of our first girls' soccer
game, in case anybody was wondering). Caroline Ruth (our first daughter) is now 2 1/2 and very independent ('Carly will do it!'). We
are busy busy busy, but we are enjoying life, and God is more than faithful to us. He is allowing me to pursue my insurance broker's
license so I can begin selling insurance this spring, and who knows what we'll be up to this summer and next fall? If anybody wants to get in
touch with us (please do), email me at jhawbaker@nc.rr.com or give me a phone call at (910) 797-8899. We hope everyone at FCS is doing well; we
miss being home, and I promise we will make it to a homecoming eventually.
Coram Deo and (striving to be) Above Reproach,
Joel, AprilMarie, Caroline, and Olivia Hawbaker

I see Zach Thrasher all the time and Whitney or Whit as he is being called now a days. My grades are great and I just got initiated into the Delta Zeta sorority up here. I am also working as a Math and Biology tutor up here at ACE. ACE is the academic center for excellence. I am loving it! Also I have changed email addresses. My new email address is nroigdz@hotmail.com.

Hello Alumni,
If you are around town on Monday and need something to do then come on down and help us move some classrooms. See memo to teachers below.
DR.C
The day has arrived! It is hand trucks and jeans day! We are ready to move; the floors are being done Wednesday and Thursday of this week; the school is closed on Friday; Monday will be moving day beginning at 8:00 a.m. We believe that it will take most of the day to move everything; we want to go slowly and avoid knocking around on the walls and avoid breaking things. We need men and we need adults and upper high school youth. We need to get a multitude of stuff in the right rooms. There is some cleaning yet to be done in the new classrooms, so if you can’t move then you maybe could clean.
Here are the teachers who are moving: This includes student desks, file cabinets, book cases, shelving units, microwaves, refrigerators, teacher desks, instructional materials, stuff and stuff and stuff – you know how teachers are!
Mrs. Holt (236-6358) moving to Mrs. Fitzgerald’s old classroom
Mrs. Pattie Wilkinson’s 4th grade stuff is to be moved to back of Mrs. Holt’s old classroom for storage
Mrs. Huie (236-0473) moving to new building
Mrs. Thacker (235-0257) moving to Mrs. Huie’s old classroom – she will be bringing her stuff in…
Mrs. Sills (236-8872) moving to new building
Mrs. Camara (831-8034) moving to Mrs. Sills’ old classroom
Mrs. Martha Wilkinson (835-2114) moving to Mrs. Camara’s old classroom
Mrs. Lauren Davis (240-7011) moving to Mrs. Wilkinson’s old classroom in gym
Mrs. Robinson (782-2953) moving to Mrs. Pattie Wilkinson’s old classroom
Mrs. Parris (237-6901) moving to new building (her stuff was stored in Mr. Hawbaker’s classroom)
Mrs. Robinson’s old classroom will become new computer room when furniture is purchased
Old Computer room will become teacher workroom – YEA!
Any or all of these teachers could use some help. I will have 4 or 5 paid men on site to help move but it will take much more than that – we need 20-25 people to make this happen. Bring hand trucks from home if you have those; we have 4 here at school and we have some dollies which could be used.
We also have the textbooks ready to be distributed to teacher classroom – Mrs. Bain is in charge of that. Do not move a book without her permission! We hope to get the textbooks moved Monday also so that teachers can put these away and make sure that everything that was needed has arrived.
We have over 200 small cardboard boxes available from the textbooks which Coach Wilson unboxed for us. These are available on a first come, first served basis for teachers to use in the moving process. I know that some teachers still need to pack before they can move.
We will order pizza for the helpers on Monday plus drinks and cookies………so come and work and fellowship….
If you can help, please call Mrs. Bain or Mrs. Weaver today or Wednesday or Thursday and we will assign you to a team.
Thank you!
Ben Character, Headmaster
Molly is engaged to be married to Nic Credeur who is from Louisiana. They have not set a date but I understand it will be after she graduates from JSU in December 2006. Molly will pursue a career as an elementary teacher.
Joel Hawbaker
Class of 2000
Joel is married of course and is teaching in North Carolina and is coaching soccer. He and his wife have a 16 month old baby.
Dr. Character:
FCS needs updated addresses from all alumni so that we can mail out invitations to homecoming which is scheduled for December 2, 2005. Please email any updates that you know of to Mrs. Bain at her email address: abain@faithchristian.info.
